Maintain & Prevent

Life After 60: Protecting What's Possible

Life does not have to be going wrong before it deserves attention.

Maybe things are basically good. You are not looking for a major reinvention, but you would like to protect what matters, notice small changes early and perhaps add something new through curiosity and small experiments.

Maintain & Prevent is the practical workbook for the Maintain & Prevent path within the Living Life Well Model. It helps you take stock, strengthen what is already working and make small, intentional changes where something could be better.

Launching 8 September 2026

This workbook is for you

Life is basically good.

You are not looking to turn everything upside down. You want to build on what is already working.

You would welcome a little boost.

Nothing is particularly wrong, but some parts of life could feel fresher, fuller or more interesting.

You want to notice change early.

You would rather spot small shifts in health, relationships, routines, finances or confidence before they become bigger concerns.

You want to protect what matters.

There are parts of your life you value and want to keep strong as circumstances continue to change.

You do not want to drift.

You want to make conscious choices rather than gradually slipping into routines that no longer suit you.

You prefer small, practical changes.

You are looking for realistic steps that fit the life you already have.

What this workbook helps you do

Notice

See what is already working.

Take stock of the areas of life that are supporting your wellbeing and recognise what is worth protecting.

Protect

Notice where something could be better.

Identify the parts of life that are not necessarily a problem, but could benefit from a little more attention, connection or energy.

Adjust

Make small, useful adjustments.

Choose practical actions that strengthen what matters without turning your life upside down.

How the workbook works

A practical way to work with the Maintain & Prevent path

The workbook guides you through the Living Life Well themes using questions, reflections and practical exercises.

You can work through it in order or begin with whichever area feels most relevant now.

The aim is to help you move from

“Life is basically fine.”

to

“I know what is working, what I want to protect and where a small change could make life even better.”

What you'll find inside

A chance to take stock.

Step back and look across the different areas of your life instead of waiting until something demands attention.

Ways to protect what matters.

Notice the people, routines, interests and circumstances that support you and consider how to keep them strong.

Space to notice what may need attention.

Explore areas that are beginning to drift, feel less satisfying or simply deserve a closer look.

Small actions that fit real life.

Choose manageable changes rather than setting yourself another enormous project.

Dare to be different

What if…?

The workbook ends with small “What if?” experiments — gentle invitations to try something new, change a routine, revisit an old interest or follow a curiosity.

Not reinvention. Just curiosity.

Do I need to read Not Done Yet first?

No.

Maintain & Prevent stands on its own. Not Done Yet introduces the whole Living Life Well Model and all three paths; this workbook takes the Maintain & Prevent path and puts it into practice.
