6 ways to move from insecurity to achievement…..
When we choose to make a change in life, change jobs or career, take a new role, or choose to do something that is a challenge either for yourself or someone else you may find that you are challenged to your point of insecurity.
So be prepared to be challenged again and again and again as you stand in that gap of uncertainty and unfamiliarity.
Whatever it is that you are insecure about, whether it’s learning or stretching to attain something, changing part of your life, starting a new relationship, trying something new, or moving house – that’s where you will be challenged the most. For example if you have expectations of someone else, whatever it is you are expecting from them will be the area that you yourself will be challenged in.
We stand in the gap of insecurity…..
When we are experiencing change we somehow straddle two different worlds – the world that was and the world that is or is coming – that leads us to the gap of insecurity. When you stand in this gap of insecurity you may find you become: frustrated, upset, stretched, motivated, encouraged or discouraged. On the other hand you may feel on top of the world or that you have reached rock bottom.
6 ways through the gap…..
- Be accountable
- Be prepared to take action
- Be flexible when necessary
- Be determined as needed
- Ask for help
- Gather people around you who will challenge, motivate and encourage you
If you recognise that standing in the gap of insecurity is the way forward for you and you are willing to stand in that gap to meet your insecurities head-on then you are more likely to achieve all that you want to achieve.
